 | I discovered a fantastic book called Watermen Of The Chesapeake Bay. It's a collection of photography by John Hurt Whitehead and was published in '79. There were so many excellent photos in here I just had to do some sketching from them. I'm also working on a graphic novel that involves, to a small degree, a watermen near a similar area - Deal Island, MD. This sketch was done with a Bic 'Soft Feel' ballpoint pen and Prismacolor 'Cool Grey 60% marker. - D |
