The very appealing thing to observe for everyone is that as an artist was that of the viewpoint of some spectators to this procedure where they were able to view all those earlier decisions. Although they enjoyed watching & examining the drawing as I made it they were startled to notice all the apparent sketching that went into it, which isn't every time the case of course. Some are faster than others. From their viewpoint though these sketches they positioned in the classes of "mistake". Perceivable of course at the first look but an absorbing observation however. The funny thing, and maybe surprising to some, is that these are basically the extreme things from what sticks out on the surface to be, mistakes. In fact all of these decisions build up to a final consequence. In the similar way you may try on a number of various pairs of shoes, calculating the comfort and look, before finally settling on the pair you purchase. Those previous pairs aren't mistakes. You're just trying them on for size.
